Private safari tent
The extraordinarily refined tented accommodation at Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp provides an upscale retreat within the unspoilt magnificence of Kenya’s Soysambu Conservancy. Make yourself at home in your spacious, impeccably appointed tent, which offers charming décor and either one king or two twin beds, as well as a small sitting area and a bathroom with 24-hour hot showers and double vanities. Exceedingly comfortable four-poster beds boast deluxe linens and mosquito netting; a well-lit work desk and chair is a cosy spot in which to pen postcards to loved ones. Take advantage of free Wi-Fi in your tent and throughout the camp to stay connected during your visit, or step out onto your private balcony to savour the striking lake views. Deluxe twin tents
Our Deluxe Twin tents feature two twin beds, as well as a balcony with lovely lake views. Amenities in the tent include free Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea making station and a bathroom with double vanities and a his-and-hers shower.
Dining room
Our beautiful central dining room and lounge offers buffet-style and a la carte fare for breakfast; choose among a wide range of options, including pastries, yoghurt and our popular Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. Lunch consists of appetising dishes such as rack of lamb served with mint sauce; vegetarian platters are available as well. We also serve a Swahili breakfast and a curry lunch every Sunday. Get a chance to enjoy local Swahili and Kenyan dishes such Mahamri, Mbaazi in Coconut, Kaimati, Madafu and so much more. Join us for dinner, where the restaurant features a table d’hôte menu with salad, a soup, an entrée, a pudding, cheese and biscuits and fine Kenyan tea or coffee.
