African Dream Cottages Diani

The holiday resort is located about 30km south of Mombasa, in the heart of Diani, opposite Forty Thieves, the best known beach bar along the most beautiful part of Diani beach. The white sandy beach, which has again been voted Africa’s most beautiful beach in 2014, is just a mere 400m away. Here the crystal clear and warm water of the Indian Ocean awaits you to swim or relax.

Cottages

The plot of 6000m² has 16 cottages. Fourteen cottages provide 35m² of living space and 8m² of veranda on the ground floor. Two houses provide 70m² of living space, with the sitting area on the ground and the bedroom on the first floor. All houses face the pool which is the center of the resort. In the cozy resort privacy and individual vacation are guaranteed. All cottages are fully furnished with kitchen, refridgerator, cooking utensils etc…

Bar and restaurant

Beside a well stocked bar, in our restaurant, next to the reception, we strive to indulge you with the food of your taste. The restaurant has been built in African style and under its huge makuti roof you can enjoy real African ambiance while looking out on the beautiful pool area. TV and Wifi are available in the restaurant.

You have special wishes?

Hire your own chef for one day, he will prepare your meals exactly as per your wish. Or perhaps you want to have your breakfast on your own veranda? We will walk the extra mile to fulfill all your wishes. Fish and seafood come fresh, directly from the fishermen and our fruits and vegetables we receive from the local shops in the area. The chef is always ready to prepare dishes for you on special request.

Relax like in paradise

The spaciously laid out resort invites to relax and unwind. Of course pool beds and towels are available to our guests free of charge. Our pool bar is well stocked with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Enjoy your vacation having one of our tasty cocktails! We also arrange events or ceremonies like birthdays, weddings and more. Talk to us, we organize everything according to your wishes. We are happy to organize excursions or safaris for you and to share our experience with you. Airport transfer is available on request and if you need assistance booking your flight we are happy to help. We host BBQ’s around the pool as well as cultural evenings, book with us on site.

Surroundings

Just a few minutes walk take you to the beach, supermarket, shopping center, some restaurants and – if necessary – medical care and a pharmacy. If you want to enjoy nightlife the popular bars/discos, Shakatak and Tandoori, are just 500 m away.
